Terms of Service

1. General
These terms of service ("the Terms") govern your use of Marketit's platform ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept the Terms.
Marketit provides a digital platform that facilitates contact between individuals and service providers. Marketit is not a party to any agreements entered into between users.
2. Role of the Service
Marketit acts solely as a technical intermediation platform.
- Agreements are entered into directly between users outside the platform
- Marketit does not participate in, monitor or take responsibility for these agreements
- No payments are processed via the platform
Use of the Service is at your own risk.
3. AI and information sources
The Service may include AI-generated recommendations and results based on internal and external data sources.
- Results are generated automatically and may contain errors, gaps or bias
- The information does not constitute advice (legal, financial or otherwise)
- External sources are not controlled by Marketit
Users are responsible for verifying information before making decisions.
4. Accounts and registration
An account is required to use certain features.
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate information
- protecting your login credentials
- all activity that occurs via your account
You must be at least 18 years old.
5. User responsibilities
Users undertake to:
- comply with laws and regulations
- not publish misleading or unlawful content
- not misuse the platform
Companies are responsible for ensuring that:
- information is accurate
- necessary permits are in place
6. Reviews and content
The Service may contain reviews and ratings.
- Marketit does not guarantee that they are accurate
- Marketit is not responsible for user-generated content
- Marketit has the right to remove content that breaches law or the Terms
7. Fees
Individuals use the Service free of charge.
Companies may be subject to fees under a separate agreement.
8. Intellectual property
Marketit owns all rights to the Service.
Users retain rights to their own content but grant Marketit a license to use it within the scope of the Service.
9. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is".
To the extent permitted by law, Marketit is not liable for:
- indirect damages
- consequential damages
- lost profits
- loss of data
Marketit's total liability is limited to the amount the user has paid to Marketit during the last 12 months.
The limitation of liability does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.
Marketit is not responsible for:
- agreements between users
- the quality or performance of services
- information from external sources
10. Misuse and damages
Users who breach these Terms or cause damage through use of the Service are liable to compensate Marketit for the actual damage incurred.
Compensation includes:
- direct costs
- administrative costs
- legal costs
- damage to systems or business operations
Damages shall be proportionate and reasonably related to the actual harm.
For companies, Marketit reserves the right to claim compensation up to an amount equivalent to 12 months of subscription fees, or higher if actual damages can be substantiated.
10b. Limitation of liability for personal data incidents
To the extent permitted by applicable data protection law (including the GDPR), Marketit's liability for damage related to processing of personal data is limited to the greater of:
- SEK 10,000, or
- the amount the user has paid to Marketit during the last 12 months
This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.
Marketit is not responsible for personal data processing carried out by users (including companies) outside the platform.
11. Reporting and moderation
Users may report content or companies that are:
- unlawful
- misleading
- in breach of the Terms
Marketit has the right to:
- review content
- remove content
- suspend accounts
For minor breaches, users may be given the opportunity to correct the behaviour.
12. Termination and suspension
Marketit may:
- suspend accounts immediately in case of serious breaches
- issue a warning for minor breaches
Users may close their account at any time.
13. Force majeure
Marketit is not liable for events outside its reasonable control.
